Monty, a tiny 5-pound Cooney Cooney piglet, was rescued from a cruelty case and brought to Heartwood Haven Sanctuary. Despite his small size, Monty has a big personality and a fearless spirit, often challenging much larger animals. Initially fragile and needing constant care, Monty has grown stronger with round-the-clock feedings and a lot of love. Now, he spends his days both indoors and outdoors, learning to be a pig from the other residents. Monty views his rescuers as his moms and sticks close to them, bringing joy and inspiration with his resilience and playful antics. His story is a testament to the power of love and the promise of better days ahead.
