Sonny, a 50-year-old Red-lored Amazon parrot, has overcome incredible odds since being surrendered to a sanctuary. After falling from his perch due to balance issues and arthritis, Sonny found a foster home where he receives the love and care he needs. With daily walks, medication and plenty of head-scratches, he’s improving and enjoying his golden years.
